A pair of Oxford County men face driving while impaired charges in Brant County after being arrested in separate incidents.
Blandford-Blenheim man faces impaired charge
A 23-year-old Blandford-Blenheim Township man was charged with impaired driving by Brant County OPP.
Police said they received a report of erratic driving, so pulled the vehicle over on Grand River Street North July 1 at about 1:30 a.m. The police allege the driver was operating the vehicle while under the influence of a drug.
The suspect was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by a drug and will appear at the Ontario court of justice in Brantford at a later date.
Oxford man faces drunk driving charges
A single -ehicle collision led to an Oxford County man being charged with drunk driving.
The Brant County OPP responded to a collision June 29 at about 2 a.m. in Paris on King Edward Street.
Their investigation found the driver was allegedly impaired by alcohol and operating a vehicle while impaired.
The 49-year-old man was also charged with having a blood alcohol concentration of more than 80 milligrams and will appear at the Ontario court of justice in Brantford at a later date.
