A man was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries following an ATV crash Thursday morning.
The Oxford OPP said the ATV and a cargo van collided at the intersection of Culloden Line and Daniel Road in South-West Oxford Township. Police, Mount Elgin Fire Services and Oxford paramedics responded to the crash at about 11:30 a.m. The ATV driver was reportedly ejected from his vehicle.
The 40-year-old ATV driver was rushed to an out-of-town hospital by Ornge air ambulance. The OPP said their investigation determined the cargo van was travelling north on Culloden Line when it collided with the ATV, which was travelling east on Daniel Road.
Culloden Line between Mount Elgin Road and Prouse Road and Daniel Road between Dereham Line and Pigram Line were closed while emergency crews investigated the collision.
OPP technical collision investigators were at the scene. Police said an update will be given as more information becomes available and is confirmed.
